Our Team

Originally from North Carolina, Tyler Corn moved to St. Augustine, FL in 2006 to begin his career in Finance working as a Commercial Banker with Prosperity Bank. He developed a passion for helping clients finance their business investment decisions and wanted to be a more integral part of the investment decision making process. In that pursuit, Tyler has been fortunate to work with some of the best Investment and Insurance companies in the US, including serving as the Senior Research Analyst for Merrill Lynch/PBIG and as the Director of Investments for Mass Mutual, both in Jacksonville, FL.

Wanting to develop a truly independent advisory practice that puts the interests of their clients above all else, Tyler and David Upchurch partnered with colleagues to form Barnett Wealth Advisors in 2014 and eventually launched Upchurch & Corn Advisors from that practice in 2018. Upchurch & Corn Advisors offers holistic financial planning services in Northeast FL. Tyler also serves as a Strategic Partner to firms in South Carolina and Kentucky, leveraging his experience in Investment Management and Financial Planning.

Tyler lives in Jacksonville, FL with his wife Lauren, daughters Avery and Caroline, and their dog Emma. He enjoys spending time with all his girls, fly fishing and generally being outdoors, and most of all when all those things intersect. He holds through LPL his Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and active member of the CFA Society of Jacksonville.

David Upchurch entered the financial services industry in 2006 as a top producer with New York Life in St. Augustine, FL. In 2014, he strategically partnered with LPL Financial, the largest independent broker dealer in the nation*, through Barnett Wealth Advisors; offering focused and holistic planning for their clients.

In 2018, David and business partner Tyler Corn, formed Upchurch and Corn Advisors with office locations in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Florida. David holds his Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, and 2-15 license.

David is a graduate of the Love School of Business at Elon University, NC. Upon graduation, David moved home to St. Augustine where his family resides. He is a fourth generation native St. Augustinian, where most of his family worked in the field of law and education.

David married his wife Carey in 2017, and they enjoy traveling and settling in to their life together. When David is not in the company of family and friends, he serves as the President of EPIC Behavioral Healthcare, a board member of the local Advisory Board of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and the Limelight Theater. David and Carey are members of Colonial Church and he’s also a current member of the Rotary Club of St. Augustine, of which, his father, grandfather and great grandfather were all members.

Tiffany Walter was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Boca Raton to pursue her degree in Communication Studies at Florida Atlantic University. After graduating in 2018, she moved home and began networking with Jacksonville Beach locals while working in hospitality management.

Harboring a passion for relationship management and first-class service, Tiffany joined Fidelity Investments as a Customer Relationship Advocate and obtained her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses in 2020, currently held through LPL Financial. As Tiffany continued to give back to the Jacksonville community, she served as an event coordinator at a local women’s non-profit to further the education and mentorship between professional women and girls ages 12-18.

After witnessing the financial knowledge disparity among women and girls, Tiffany returned to the financial industry and now serves as Upchurch and Corn’s Director of Operations. She considers herself to be a life-long learner and hopes to return to school to obtain her Master’s degree and pursue additional financial licenses.

In her free time, she loves to travel, try new restaurants with family and friends, and relax with her two rescue cats.
